About
The Colgate Political Review is Colgate University’s online and printed journal of politics and public policy. The journal was established in 2018. It was revived in 2025, and has since expanded onto a website platform. Our team publishes online content on a continuous basis and produces a semesterly print magazine featuring select articles. We are committed to representing a diversity of viewpoints, backgrounds, and ideologies. Above all, our goal is to provide a venue for students to express themselves freely and provide an open forum for political thought on issues of local to global significance.
The views expressed in the Colgate Political Review are those of the author(s) and/or interviewees only, and do not represent the views of Colgate University, the Masthead of the Colgate Political Review, or any of its affiliates. All content is edited and published by Colgate students. Students are expected to publish content that is accurate, fair, well-researched, and transparent with sources, data, and intent.
